Police officer attacked a protestor

For some years the people of Bonaire are demonstrating to claim the right to exercise their right of self-determination. Bit by bit it reaches a peak. In February 2015 a police officer attacked a protestor while he was filming the police agent stopping a demonstration in Kralendijk.

Last year, the end of 2014, the Governor took the General Police Adopt – 1919, the colonial period in which Bonaire belonged to Curaçao and Dependencies. With this colonial Adopt  the Governor wanted to stop the demonstrations.
